Hair-Did

My mom and I have come up with some clever comparisons to better describe one's appearance when getting one's hair highlighted.
The first stage is the Pull Tiny Bits Of Hair Through The Plastic Cap Stage...this is referred to as La Femme Beetlejuice, as this procedure lends a Beetlejuice appearance to one's head...as pointed out by my mom as she sat in the "hair chair" with her face framed by random blotches of wild blonde hair.
The second stage which consists of Wet Down The Tiny Bits Of Hair That Are Poking Through The Cap...is referred to as The Corpse Look. However, it may also be described as..."Mom, you look like one of the zombie dancers from the Thriller video." This is the stage of highlights, just before chemicals are applied, when the hair is hanging off of the scalp in limp wet strings. Reminding one of scary movies where the dead have risen and their hair only remains sporadically on their skull.
Either way, it's lovely.
